Simple Sundays #12 Simple Notecard

Stamping doesn’t have to be complicated, and you don’t need lots of stuff to get started if you’re new to it.
In today’s post, I want to make my ‘Simple Sundays’ even more simple to show you that you can still make something pretty and functional with very limited supplies, especially if you’ve been thinking about trying stamping for the first time or if you’re concerned about not having many supplies.

I’ll be posting a few such projects using the hashtag #simplestamping - so watch out for more!
Also watch for some videos to go with them in the very near future!

Today’s notecard was created using one notecard, one stamp set and one colour of ink.

A favourite of mine from the annual catalogue, the Sea of Textures stamp set has this adorable octopus whom I’ve fallen in love with 💕

If you’re feeling adventurous, you can also add a couple of gems for his (or her) eyes and even recreate your card in different colours if you do have more than one ink pad.

If you’re feeling even more adventurous, or once you’re able to increase your collection of stamping supplies, you could even cut the octopus out using the matching frame lit dies and raise him (or her) up on dimensional to add some contour to your card.
However it’s worth remembering that if you buy the stamp set and the dies together as a bundle, you’ll save 10% on the total cost.

But for now, why not have a go at #simplestamping and create your own card using just one card, one stamp set and one colour!

I hope you’ve enjoyed seeing today’s project and I hope to see you again soon.
Love Karen xx
