Thank you
for joining us for another Simply Sketched Saturday Challenge! We’re so excited
to be sharing this hop with you. The
products used are all available in the current Annual, or seasonal, Stampin’
Up!® Catalogues. Simply use the buttons
at the bottom of the post to keep hopping!
This time, the sketch was designed by yours truly! I hope you like it and that you enjoy seeing all the creations that have materialised from everyone's interpretations of it.
Here's the design:
I went with another card this time and came up with this:
I used Bermuda Bay cardstock from the 'Have a Cuppa' cardstock pack to make my 5-1/2" x 4-1/4" card base (cut to 5-1/2" x 8-12/" and scored on the long side at 4-1/4"), decorating it in portrait mode.
I added the 5-1/4" x 4" panel to the inside using Whisper White cardstock, with the sentiment from the Party Wishes clear mount stamp set stamped in Bermuda Bay ink. The corners are rounded using the Project Life corner punch.
The panel on the front is DSP from the 'Have a Cuppa' DSP stack, cut to 5-1/2" x 1-1/4".
The cupcakes are stamped in Bermuda Bay ink using the little cupcake stamp from the Party Wishes clear mount stamp set and punched out using the co-ordinating cupcake punch from the Party Punch Pack (the stamp set and punch pack can currently be ordered together as a 'Bundle and Save' pack). I added a little pearl accent to the icing on each cupcake.
The cupcakes are attached to the card using dimensionals to raise them up a little and make the card less 'flat'.
The ribbon is a small piece from my 'other' crafting supplies and isn't a Stampin' Up! product. It's attached to the DSP using a mini glue dot.
I hope you like it and thanks for dropping by. Now all you have to do is click on the links below to take you to either Hannah in the next blog or Suzanne in the previous blog, depending on which direction you came to arrive here!
Enjoy your onward journey, whichever direction you're travelling in!
